FOTOGRAFARE IL PARCO...AT STELVIO NATIONAL PARK

FOTOGRAFARE IL PARCO ... AT STELVIO NATIONAL PARK

Photographers in action at Stelvio National Park! And above all, photographers hiking in the Park.

In the last few days, Pietro Ruffini, whose photo won the latest edition of the contest “Fotografare il Parco”, came to visit the Park as our guest.

Pietro is the author of the photography that has been awarded as the Gran Paradiso National Park’s best landscape (a "polar" image of the Serrù Lake frozen surface in Valle d’Orco): he won a weekend at Stelvio National Park.

With him there was also Bruno De Faveri, another friend of Stelvio and author of many photos that have been used in our book about bats.

Last Friday, we went together in Val Cedéc and along the Glaciological Path in Valle dei Forni. On Saturday, the two photographers walked with Giancarlo Giudici - another winner of the contest - through Valle di Fraele and Val Zebrù.

Only few chances to make some good animal photos – actually, the strange weather conditions made the animals "lazy" - but thanks to the sunny weather, the landscapes did their best.

Once again, Stelvio National Park offered us the opportunity for a very pleasant meeting!
