Fotografare il Parco. Edition 2022: Nature in images

The international contest “Fotografare il Parco” is back, an event organised by the Italian National Parks of Stelvio, Gran Paradiso, Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise and the French Parc national de la Vanoise, with the patronage of Alparc (the Alpine Network of Protected Areas) and Federparchi.

On Friday 13 May, Geo, the famous Italian Rai 3 nature programme, broadcasted a report on the Contest.  The presenter, Emanuele Biggi, interviewed Stanislao Basileo, winner of the 15th edition, as well as Loredana Dresti, who represents the entire organising staff.

For us, this is further recognition of the high aesthetic and communicative value achieved, thanks to the cooperation between the promoting protected areas.

Nevertheless, the main credit goes to the skill of the participants and their extraordinary ability to describe the landscapes and natural elements of our protected areas.

In the wonderful setting of the Auditorium Parco della Musica “Ennio Morricone” in Rome, on Sunday 24 April, the prize-giving ceremony was held, aimed at awarding the authors of the absolute and category winning-photographs, as well as the images considered worthy of mention during the 15th edition of the contest “Fotografare il Parco”.

The ceremony was part of the rich calendar of events organised for celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Gran Paradiso National Park and the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, co-organisers of the contest together with Stelvio and de la Vanoise National Parks.
